<p><em>Religion has an important role in the life of humans. Not only as a belief system, but also as the medium to build solidarity inside the society. In various cultures and societies, religion plays the role of a uniting factor that connects individuals with its group, giving moral guidance, and strengthens their social bond. In Durkheim’s perspective, the existing social solidarity built through religion does not only create similarities, but also manage the differences between individuals, in order to maintain balance in the social structure. This research aims to explore how religion plays a role as the communication medium in building social solidarity inside Indonesia’s society, through Emile Durkheim’s perspective. This research is a library research with the approach being qualitative. The result shows that religion does indeed play a very important role in building social solidarity in the society. From Emile Durkheim’s perspective, religion is not only a spiritual belief system but also function as a social communication medium able to create harmony between individuals and communities. In a traditional society, mechanic solidarity is formed by common religious beliefs, norms, and values shared together. Religion in this scope becomes the main binder that strengthens social relations, maintaining stability in the community. On the other hand, in a modern and more complex society, organic solidarity develops through interdependency under the influence of religion as the moral guidance and liasion between groups. Through symbols, rituals, and moral values, religion creates collective awareness that serves as the foundation of social solidarity.</em></p>Ario Gardamong Mokoginta

<p><em>Da`wah in Maluku continually faces complex challenges due to the rapid development of technology and the flow of information, particularly social media. While these developments have created a limitless virtual space for preachers to convey positive information, they also carry risks by positioning recipients in a passive position, preventing them from validating the information. They also have the potential to spread exclusive and intolerant ideas that threaten the brotherhood of the Maluku community. Although national and local preachers continue to promote good values to maintain peace, the outbreak of communal conflict continues to disrupt security stability. Therefore, this research aims and has the urgency to explore the challenges of da'wah from a social construction perspective. This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach through four stages: determining the phenomenon, identifying the research problem, identifying philosophical assumptions, and analyzing the phenomenology. The philosophical assumption is that da'wah is socially constructed, dynamic, and contextual, and that technology changes the way da'wah is received. Social construction theory is used as an analytical tool to examine da'wah objectively (structural thinking) and subjectively (individual creativity). The result, although social media offers significant opportunities, direct and content-based da'wah often focuses solely on material gain and monetization, thus tending to instill rigid understandings and potentially eroding inclusive values such as the pela-gandong bond, which serves as the social capital that cements the brotherhood of the Maluku community. Therefore, a social construction approach is relevant in addressing contemporary da'wah challenges because it emphasizes da'wah based on deeply rooted social structures in Maluku, enabling the public to understand, contextualize, and resist the influence of misleading information and teachings that divide diversity.</em></p>Rahmat Hidayat Tutupoho

<p><em>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran dakwah pondok pesantren sebagai produsen pembentuk realitas sosial melalui proses konstruksi nilai sosial keagamaan, pengetahuan dan reproduksi praktik sosial. Penelitain ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain studi kasus di pondok pesantren Al-Fatah Tapadaka Kecamatan Dumoga Utara, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi partisipatif dan wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pesantren memiliki fungsi sebagai institusi sosial keagamaan yang secara sistematis memproduksi nilai-nilai keagamaan dan moral melalui praktik keseharian, tradisi pesantren dan adanya relasi antar Kiai dan santri. Proses eksternalisasi ini berlangsung melalui keteladaan Kiai dan adanya pengaturan kehidupan pesantren yang kemudian mengalami objektivikasi dalam bentuk norma dan tradisi institusi, serta diinternalisasikan oleh para santri sebagai bagian dari pola pikir dan identitas diri. Lebih lanjut, nilai dan praktik sosial pesantren direproduksi oleh santri dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat, sehingga berkontribusi pada transformasi realitas sosial. <h1><em>This study reinterprets the Haroa tradition a Buton ritual of gratitude rich in spiritual and social values using Fazlur Rahman's </em><em>double movement</em><em> hermeneutic method to address questions regarding its theological legitimacy. Employing a qualitative library research approach, the study analyzes Haroa culture and Rahman's methodology. The analysis through Rahman's First Movement reveals that Haroa emerged from an accommodative Islamization process, integrating Islamic principles into local culture. The core normative values found </em><em>gratitude, social solidarity, and moral education </em><em>are consistent with the ethical values of the Qur'an. The Second Movement confirms the enduring relevance of these moral values in the modern context. Haroa functions as a crucial space for collective ethical education and dialog amidst contemporary social challenges like individualism and weakening solidarity. In conclusion, the Haroa tradition is recognized as </em><em>urf shalih</em><em> (a good tradition) in line with Sharia principles. <p>Perkembangan komunikasi digital membawa kemudahan dalam pengelolaan administrasi kependudukan, namun sekaligus memunculkan ancaman serius terhadap keamanan data pribadi. Sejak 2020, Indonesia berkali-kali mengalami insiden kebocoran data berskala besar yang mengungkap berbagai kelemahan dalam ekosistem perlindungan data. Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisis secara mendalam bagaimana sistem data kependudukan dikelola, batas kemampuan teknis yang dimiliki instansi di tingkat bawah, peran pemerintah melalui regulasi, dan berbagai insiden nyata yang memperlihatkan risiko kebocoran data. <p><em>This study analyzes the communication strategy of Dompet Dhuafa Yogyakarta in the midst of the socio-economic crisis during the Covid-19 pandemic by setting four problem formulations, namely (1) How is Dompet Dhuafa Yogyakarta's communication strategy in increasing Ziswaf income in the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic; (2) How is Dompet Dhuafa's communication effort in maintaining Muzakki in the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic; (3) Supporting factors for Dompet Dhuafa Yogyakarta's communication in increasing Ziswaf; and (4) Factors inhibiting Dompet Dhuafa Yogyakarta's communication in increasing Ziswaf during Covid 19. The method used in this research is descriptive-qualitative with a case study model. Data collection uses interview, observation, and documentation methods. The results of the study are (1) Dompet Dhuafa Yogyakarta's communication strategy in increasing and maintaining muzakki, namely through digital marketing strategies, utilization of social media and utilization of print media, (2) in maintaining muzakki's trust using Case Relathionship Management (CRM) and selection of communicators in delivering the message, (3) The supporting factors, the number of volunteers, social media, and partners who joined in breaking the spread of Covid-19, and the (4) inhibiting factors are, Covid-19, media, and adaptation.</em></p>Sutan Kumala Pontas, Ali Ridho, Ridzki M
