Implementasi Reading Aloud untuk Penguatan Nilai-Nilai Karakter pada Anak Usia Dini

Abstract

Penanaman nilai karakter sejak usia dini merupakan fondasi krusial dalam pendidikan anak. Namun, banyak pendidik dan orang tua yang belum mengoptimalkan teknik literasi yang interaktif. Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan serta keterampilan guru TK dan orang tua di Desa Sidera dalam menerapkan metode reading aloud (membaca nyaring). Melalui pendekatan partisipatif, program ini melibatkan 20 orang tua dan 8 guru TK. Rangkaian kegiatan dilaksanakan secara sistematis, meliputi tahapan penyuluhan teori, demonstrasi teknik membaca yang ekspresif, hingga praktik langsung pendampingan anak. Monitoring dan evaluasi dilakukan untuk mengukur efektivitas program terhadap pemahaman peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada aspek pengetahuan dan keterampilan praktis peserta dalam mengimplementasikan reading aloud. Program ini berhasil membuktikan bahwa teknik membaca nyaring bukan sekadar aktivitas literasi, melainkan instrumen efektif untuk menginternalisasi nilai-nilai karakter pada anak, baik di lingkungan rumah maupun sekolah.
