Persepsi Mahasiswa Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan terhadap Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di IAIN Manado
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang Persepsi Mahasiswa Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan terhadap Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di IAIN Manado. Persepsi adalah proses memahami diri sendiri, menilai, menanggapi, dan menafsirkan informasi atau rangsangan dari lingkungan sekitar yang diterima melalui panca indera. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus (field study). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data terkait persepsi mahasiswa Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan IAIN Manado terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Arab dan untuk mengetahui alasan perbedaan persepsi dari beberapa mahasiswa. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Persepsi mahasiswa sebagian besar beranggapan bahwa pembelajaran Bahasa Arab sangat perlu di perguruan tinggi Islam. meskipun belum semua dari mereka menyadari betapa pentingnya belajar Bahasa Arab. Sebagian besar dari mereka merasa bahwa mempelajari bahasa Arab bukanlah hal yang mudah tetapi juga tidak sulit. Artinya, diperlukan metode khusus untuk mempelajarinya. Dosen di Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan menggunakan model atau metode dan media pembelajaran bahasa Arab yang efektif sehingga para mahasiswa dapat dengan mudah mengikuti dan memahami materi yang disampaikan. Hal ini membuat mereka sangat antusias untuk belajar.
