Meningkatkan Kemampuan Membaca untuk Siswa Kelas I MIS Muhammadiyah Wawonasa Manado
Abstract
Kemampuan membaca siswa kelas I di MIS Muhammadiyah Wawonasa siswa masih rendah oleh karena itu kemampuan membaca siswa perlu ditingkatkan dengan menerapkan media pembelajaran yang baru dan berbeda dari pembelajaran yang sebelumnya, agar kemampuan membaca siswa dapat meningkat, sehingga membantu siswa dalam mata pelajaran yang lain. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data, maka didapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa dengan mengguankan cerita bergambar pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa. Pada siklus II dan dilakukan perbaikan – perbaikan, maka pada siklus II skornya menjadi 42, sedangkan skor observasi siswa pada siklus I adalah 14 dikarenakan situasi belajar siswa yang masih belum terkendalikan. dan pada siklus II yaitu 34, karena situasi siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran berdasarkan beberapa perbaikan pada siklus I dapat terkendali. Dengan demikian tindakan yang telah dilakukan sudah sesuai dengan perencanaan yang telah disusun sebelumnya dan mencapai kemampuan membaca yang diharapkan.
