Penggunan Media Video Edukasi untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa dalam Pembelajaran IPS Sekolah Dasar
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar pada pembelajaran IPS dengan menggunakan media video edukasi pada siswa di kelas V MI Alkhairaat Mogolaing Kotamobagu. Penggunaan media video edukasi merupakan salah satu media pembelajaran yang tepat digunakan di kelas karena memiliki kelebihan dibandingkan dengan metode pembelajaran yang lain. Media video edukasi mempunyai unsur suara dan unsur gambar. Pendidik akan lebih mudah menyampaikan materi pelajaran kepada siswa. Lebih mudah mengkondisikan kelas dengan cara menarik perhatian siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas Model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester II Tahun ajaran 2020/2021 dalam dua siklus setiap siklus ada dua pertemuan. subjek penelitian ini siswa kelas V MI Al-Khairaat yang berjumlah 34 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Sementara teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II melalui pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media video edukasi. Pada siklus I rata-rata skor aktivitas guru memperoleh skor 24 meningkat 32, aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran pada siklus I sebesar 12,88 meningkat 16,61 pada siklus II, dan siswa yang mengalami kriteria ketuntasan sebesar 58,82% pada siklus I meningkat 85,29%. Pada siklus II mengacu pada indikator keberhasilan penelitian yang menetapkan sebesar 75 KKM siswa mengalami ketuntasan dalam pembelajaran IPS dan untuk kriteria ketuntasan sebesar 85% ,maka penelitian ini dinyatakan berhasil.
